They are very hard to open. Both sides cut at the same depth close to where iit seals it Should make one side a little longer or at least have a tab.

I find the smaller bags workbut the 11X16 bags don't suck out the air

These are thicker and sturdier than Food Saver, easily rewashed and reused. The zipper loc is tought, can be a tad tough to close but the included gripper to seal them helps. You can seal and vacuum food then freeze it, and it stays vacuum sealed whereas the Food Saver bags don't. The valve doesn't seem to have the quirky fit the Food Saver bags can have. Good sizes.

After years of using vacuum bags, I have found these bags hold up the best. The valve doesn't fail like the brands with the blue valves. I have not found a source for just the replacement valves with out buying more bags. These bags are not only thicker, but the ziplock is much more secure. They are also harder to zip but they provide a slider that assists nicely with the task.

So for years i had been using the foodsaver vacuu-seal reusable bags, & was never happy with the results. No matter what i put in them, the vacuum was gone within a week. Which basically defeats the whole purpose of using them.These quite literally are what you want to get if you are looking for a reusable vacuum storage bag!Six months ago when i got these i took one & put some random food equivalents in them & vacuumed them to see how long that vacuum would last. They are still holding a vacuum with no noticeable change.I will say that the valve on these bags can be a little temperamental. Sometimes they needed a bit more suction on the valve for it to open & begin to pull a vacuum. Which of course is more than likely why it holds that vacuum so well.

I'd say 25% of the bags don't stay sealed.

I use these with my sous vide set up. They'll hold a 2" thick Porterhouse and maintain the vacuum while frozen. The Vesta handheld vacuum pump is more powerful but I'd love a counter-top vac sealer that would also accommodate these bags.

I have owned two Food Saver hand held products. The Vesta is as good as or better. I’ve only had the product for a short time…I hope is lasts as long as the competition has. Only time will tell…..😁

fits great and works good

The bag appears to be an excellent thick bag but it would not work with my hand held FoodSaver suction devise. I returned the bags.

Non succede sempre ma la valvola del vuoto non è molto performante, perdono facilmente il vuoto. Dunque più che un sacchetto per la conservazione a vuoto lo considero un sacchetto riapribile nel quotidiano al quale si può togliere il vuoto. Funziona solo con il macchinario compatibile, a manicotto. Sempre la stessa valvola è fatta di plastica molto leggera e può rompersi dopo qualche utilizzo.

Excellent, gets the job done.

These are great bags, but I find it very difficult to physically close them before using the sealer.

Originally I ordered the Vacuum Sealer - Handheld Vac 'n Seal from Amazon which we love love love. The handheld sealer came with 3 of their bags which I forgot about until another inferior brand of bags started to deteriorate that I started to use the Vesta Precision vacuum sealing bags that I took notice of the quality of the bags, and noticed the name printed on these bags that I ordered from Vesta Precision directly. Very happy with them and the design (taller vs. a square bag to leave room for storage and to vaccum the air out.) I highly recommend the Vesta bags and the handheld vacuum sealer.

Hard to find the right size at a decent price

These bags worked well with the Vesta handheld sealer, but about three or four of the large bags would not seal, or they would quickly lose their seal after a few minutes. I finally put water in one of the bags that would not keep a seal and discovered there was a small hole in the side of the bag. I have not had a chance to check the other bags, yet. The bags that worked held a good seal so far, but they are kind of pricey to have some of them not seal at all.

The sealer & the bags were used to seal food for the refrigerator & to seal fresh fruit to be frozen. The bag sizes are great for many uses. Overall the products are very convenient & easy to use.
