Troubleshooting Seal Bar Issues

There are several common steps for troubleshooting seal issues with your Vesta Precision vacuum sealer. Below, we will step through each one, from simplest to advanced.

If your vacuum sealer has a variable seal time option, ensure the seal time is set to a value greater than 0.
If your vacuum sealer has a Marinate option, verify that the option is disabled.
Check the seal bar tape for discoloration, brittleness, etc. A worn-out seal tape can adversely impact the quality of the seal.
If the seal bar can be removed, remove it and clean the seal bar mounting holes on the underside and the seal bar mounting pegs in the vacuum sealer.
Test the seal wire's continuity with an ohmmeter. A value of 1 indicates a break in the seal wire, which requires replacement.
