This chamber vacuum sealer impresses customers with its powerful sealing performance and heavy-duty construction. Shoppers praised it as "rock solid" and noted it "just works" reliably on large quantities. The oil pump is quieter than dry pump alternatives. However, customers noted it weighs over 50 lbs, lacks an off switch, and spare parts aren't available.

Love my new Vacuum Sealer

I love my new vacuum sealer. It works great. The only downside with this sealer is that it does not have an off switch. With this, you have to unplug the device to close the lid without it turning on. I do wish that the top was clear so you could see the process of the vacuum sealer working.

Mind blown 🤯 ? Nope, mind vacuumed

This is my first personal experience with a vacuum sealer. With a big family and a lot of food ways I knew I needed one, but I didn’t want a crappy one. I decided to take a chance on this. It looked like it would take up a lot of space, but it actually fit really well on a big shelf, I was frustrated because I found that the power cord was smaller than it should be and even though I was close to an outlet, I really had to stretch to get it in. It says not to plug it in to an ungrounded outlet or into an extension cable bar.So once I figure it out where I could put it and keep in mind yes it is heavy. I am a woman, but I lift weights not everyone could lift this thing. Then I realized I needed to put oil in the back, I basically needed to dump in the whole bottle of oil provided. After that it seemed it was ready to go. Oh, and I used one of the bags included with the machine and I loaded it up with a bag of pepperoni. We were never going to finish before it spoiled. I press the automatic feature because I have not yet experienced enough to do customized, vacuum seal. I read the instruction manual, and I think that the manual is not great but it’s good enough. Using the drawing and the instructions I was able to figure out what I needed to do.Note** I did not find anywhere in the manual that said you needed to install the seal bar yourself, but you do it is package separately from the unit and you just have to place it in place. There are no tools needed.Anyway, before I knew it, the package was sealed and I was standing there in awe. This thing is a legit beast and it is pretty awesome.

Impressive vacuum sealer!

This vacuum sealer is no joke! It is heavy, well-constructed, and works like a charm. I'm so incredibly impressed with this and while it is a huge investment for home use, it will enable long-term savings by allowing me to completely seal and freeze food for future use. No complaints at all about build quality or packaging and I'm really truly very impressed with it.

I already own a chamber style vacuum machine but with a dry pump. I have to say as much as I like that machine, I prefer this one. While not quiet, this oil pump machine is considerably quieter then my dry pump unit. This thing is a beast, it weighs over 50lbs and is not easy to move around, so you likely need a semi permanent place to set it up, or you can do like me and put in on a roller cart. The hardest part of setting this thing up was getting it out of the box, after that just add the included oil and put the seal bar into place. I tested it out by sealing up some smoked cheese that I had in the fridge, it worked perfectly. I like the clip for holding the bag open better then the system on my other machine, it is less fiddley. So far I've been nothing but impressed by this unit, and I look forward to using for some serious sealing come moose season. While this is not an inexpensive unit, it is much more affordable than some of its comparable competitors, and it seems to work just as well, if not better.Update:I am however going to deduct a star due to not being able to get any spare parts for the machine. I contacted customer service to inquire about purchasing a spare seal bar and was told they do not carry spare parts. I find this very disappointing that if a seal bar, or a lid gasket seal goes bad your $900 machine is then just a 50 pound paper weight. To be clear my machine is working fine, I just wanted to purchase a spare seal bar.

Wow!

I love cooking and when I saw this I just couldn't pass it up for review. I have used this to seal bags and marinate a London broil steak so far. It's incredibly easy to use. For marinating there is enough space that you can just set your meat in a container with the marinade and not even use a bag. The one nitpick I do have is the clip to hold bags in place is not easy to use. Also for people who don't read the specs this thing weighs over 50 pounds, I did know this ahead of time but it's something people interested in this should know. This is one of my favorite kitchen tools now!
