Product Description

The Frysta Blast Freezer is the only available blast chiller designed for home and light commercial use. Other chillers are intended solely for commercial food service operations and thus are much bigger, much heavier, and much more expensive.

The BF-200 has a smaller horizontal-oriented footprint with a capacity of three quarter-sheet trays.

The BF-300 has a larger footprint for a capacity of five half-sheet trays.

Its modern design with touch panel user control is also environment-friendly, using the advanced refrigerant R290. It has excellent thermal performance with its rapid chilling and temperature holding capability, and its design is auto-defrosting and self-evaporating to avoid clean-up mess.

A great add to a well equipped home kitchen! I had been looking for a blast chiller for a few years but most were commercial, large, and expensive. Enter the Vesta BF100! It’s the right size for a small kitchen (would recommend the 200 for most moderate kitchens) and fits under the counter perfectly. It does what it claims excellently. I have had it for about 3 years now and love it. It reduces food waste and increases storage life. I make moderate batches of food, blast chill it, and vaccum seal it. You can refrigerate for days or freeze for weeks/months. Highly recommend!

First time purchasing blast chiller/freezer. Compared to competition this is a very inexpensive model. The amount of food you can store at once is small but if you want to test use blast chill/freezer this is the model you want to buy as it does the job as described.

I was very hesitant at first since this blast freezer is small, but we needed something that was small and in our limited price range. This fits perfectly and it works well for all the small mousse cakes that we do.
