Why do I see <unknown ssid> as the SSID when pairing via the Vesta app?
There are two possible solutions for this issue.
- If using the Vesta app version 1.1, upgrade to the latest version of the Vesta app and accept ALL permissions requested.
- If using the latest version of the Vesta app on an Android phone, be sure to allow Phone and Location permissions.
The issue is caused by changes in iOS 13 and Android 9/10 that require apps to get explicit permission to query the network state and information. The Phone and Location permissions control this ability.
