I can think of about 1 million reasons to sous vide.
But using it for entertaining and feeding a crowd is a total must!
Whether it is for a dinner party for 10 or a holiday for 100, using the sous vide to help is a great idea.
One of the biggest reasons why is that you can prep and cook the food prior to your event, then pop in in the fridge until you need it. Using the sous vide will allow you to cook everything you need ahead of time. Store in the fridge until right before you are ready to eat and then finish it off with a quick sear to warm. Your main course will be cooked to perfection and the hard work will be done ahead of time!
Instead of working over the stove before your guests get there, pop whatever it is you are going to make in the sous vide early and let it do its magic. No dishes. No mess. Cooked to perfection every single time. When you are ready to enjoy then do a quick sear to finish or pop it on the grill to finish.
Whatever you choose, using the sous vide to feed a crowd is a great option for entertaining and large numbers! It makes it easy, effortless, and cooked to perfection every time. So now go enjoy your guests and the party!
